Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,
Although the racing has concluded for 39 of us, the top 10 of the Laser Fleet will race their Medal Race at 2pm today. Regardless of the outcome of the Medal Race the rest of the scores stand. I finished 25th in a fleet of 49 sailors. This has been a wonderful experience for me, for my Coach Charlie Buckingham and for my Team Leader Phillip Shannon. I will go over everything in a wrap up letter to all but I may need a bit of time to reflect on the whole experience and to put words and emotions on paper.

Today is a busy day for us with dealing with my laser, the coach boat and starting to pack up four months of clothes, racing gear, equipment, road bike, etc…….We will then relocate to London for a few days, watch a few events and participate in the Closing Ceremony. We will be back in the US of A on August 16 !!!
I want to thank all and everyone from the bottom of my heart. You all made this possible for me and for my family. I have said this many times but none of this would have been possible without your support and I am forever grateful.
