Last Day of my Olympics

Today is the last day of my first Olympic Games. It has been a wonderful journey so far and I have learned a lot. Charlie Buckingham has been such a good asset to my racing and working with him leading up to 2016 will be awesome.

My scores this event haven’t been that great, but I have showed potential and there is a lot I can take away from this experience. I have had terrible starts all event, but managed to use my speed and sometimes my smarts to claw my way back through the fleet. Unfortunately there were a few occasions where boats got by me and ruined what was to be a good result.

SInce its the last day and there is no chance of me medaling, I would really like to concentrate on getting off the line with a clean start and just sending it. I’m capable of fighting with the guys in the top group, I just need to get off the line and establish myself in that top group.

Stay tuned and thanks for following.

The course for today:

Cy is feeling very good physically and is actually in a respectable position considering the fleet he is sailing in. An update will be posted this afternoon after today’s racing.
