The stage is set!!!! 2015 Laser World Championship starts tomorrow. Doesn’t seem like it’s been almost a year since the last Worlds, but time does fly. Kingston, Ontario Canada is home to the Worlds this year and I have to admit that I do love this place. People are super friendly, the water is fresh, so there is no line to wait for a hose at the end of the day, and the racing will be great.
Kingston has the ability to give you a variation of all conditions and over a 7 day event with 14 races, I’m sure we will see a wide range of forecasts. I think that makes for a very fair event as the best guys will have to perform in all conditions.
One week prior, Kingston held the Canadian Nationals. It was a 2 day event, but with a shortage of wind, we were only able to get 2 races off. I started with a win and then a not so great score, but it left me in 4th overall. I feel good, and I’m excited to race.
I’ll try and do my best at making updates. Stay tuned.
